University of Akron team wins 1st place in APICS Student Case Competition

Our chapter sponsored a team from the Univeristy of Akron for the APICS Mid Atlantic District's annual Student Case Competition.  We are very proud that the University of Akron team earned recognition as the 1st place winner.

Lean Enterprise Workshop

Our chapter held the Lean Enterprise Workshop three times recently, and received excellent feedback from all the students.  We are currently offering this course to local companies as a customized in-house workshop.

Welcome North Coast Ohio and Canton Members

We would like to welcome the North Coast Ohio and Canton-area members of APICS to the Akron Chapter.  We plan to have events centrally located to make the merger beneficial to all members.

2013 CPIM Certification Class Schedule

2013 CSCP (Certified Supply Chain Professional) Classes and Materials

Spring 2013 CSCP classes started in late April, with separate Friday and Saturday sessions being held.  Fall 2013 CSCP classes are planned to start in October.  Weekday and weekend classes typically run from 9am-4pm, and the courses meet on 5 days spread out over a 3 month period (dates chosen to minimize scheduling conflicts for students).  In-house training options are also available.  APICS CSCP study materials may be purchased at a discount to the price charged by APICS International.  Please contact CSCP@AkronAPICS.org for more information.
